Fred Yentz
CEO
An experienced technology executive with proven success and strong global business development experience within the Internet of Things and Industrie 4.0 market sectors. Fred has successfully launched world-class Industrial IoT software and cloud-based IoT service platforms targeting customers from small innovator companies up to and including Fortune 500 corporate customers.
Prior to Tartabit, Fred has served as President of Telit IoT Platforms, CEO of ILS Technology, VP and General Manager of RadiSys Corp - Industrial and Telecom divisions, as well several leadership positions with IBM’s Manufacturing System Products Division, IBM PC Company, and IBM System Products Division.
Jim Wert
CTO
An experienced technology development and engineering executive with proven success in the Internet of Things and Industrie 4.0 market sectors. Jim has experience delivering solutions for many industries such as factory automation, telematics, healthcare, smart metering, condition-based monitoring, device management, and many more.
Prior to Tartabit, Jim served as CTO of Telit, a leading provider of IoT hardware, software, and services. As Vice President of R&D at Telit, Jim designed and built the award winning deviceWISE Industrial IoT Gateway software and the Telit IoT Platform.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.

Murat Karabatur
EMEA Business Development
Senior and accomplished business leader with domain expertise and track record in telecommunication, software development and Internet of Things, specializing in Smart City platforms and applications.
Experience leading product development and management in corporate and entrepreneurial environments. As Head of Mobile Solutions at Olcsan he led the development of Smart City Platform and Applications, in particular a Smart Street Lighting system using LPWAN technologies such as LoRa and NB-IoT.
Murat was in charge of the ICT leg of a European Commission funded Smart Cities and Communities project in 3 European cities with a total budget of 23.5M Euros. He has also overseen the development and integration of Mobile Biometry solutions for mobile banking apps. Prior to Olcsan, Murat was leading large scale cross company projects within the Turkish Telekom Group’s mobile and ISP businesses, such as MVNO, FMC, VAS fields. Coming from the telecommunications vendor and software development background he has vast experience in leading product development and management in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments. He has also founded several businesses bringing his entrepreneurial leadership skills to the market.
Murat holds MSc in EE and MBA degrees from Columbia University. Being multilingual (English, German, Turkish) Murat possesses broad international experience.
